5 Reasons Why I Love Cainta

I know I should be writing about something like really beautiful in my hometown, or maybe about a secret falls or a great resort nearby or maybe even a historic event that happened once upon a time. However, my hometown, Cainta, Rizal is actually a very, very, very small town. You can’t find anything here. I’m not kidding. The only interesting place to go to here is Sta. Lucia which is the only mall in Cainta, except for Robinson’s Place in Junction that is about half a call center (Teletch) and Sta. Lucia may not even actually be Cainta’s but Pasig’s (although technically, I think Cainta won that fight). The Cainta municipality is located in Rizal which is part of the CALABARZON region or Region 4A. When I first entered college, everyone asked me, “Where are you from?” I answered, “Cainta,” and they immediately had that blank looks on their faces. “From where?” they would ask again. So I’d like to welcome you to the quaint little town of Cainta I call home. Cainta is small, with a 26.81 square km area and probably less activity to do than when you’re at school and about to fall asleep. Cainta has been my home for about 7 years now.
