Getting Jiggy with Boracay Pubcrawl

Crowds. Sounds of laughter from every group of friends. Bouncing music that you want to dance to, only you can’t for the fear of being seen as crazy or extremely drunk. It’s the typical scene for a young adult in the world of beautiful and crazy Boracay Island. For a traveler, (okay, for every young adult), your young adulthood is never complete if you haven’t partied hard in Boracay. And if you haven’t then, you’re definitely missing out on a lot.

But what if you’re alone? Or with friends that are too nunnish to try jiggying to the music? Or with a younger sister or brother that will watch your every move? Or you’re simply bored and you want to meet new people?

What if you’re one of the above and you just can’t bring yourself to approach a group and convince them you’re not crazy?

What to dowhat to do?

What was that again?

Boracay Pubcrawl!!

And I remember the echoes of my Pubcrawlmates as they shout and chant along the road. I look around and smile as I watch everyone else watching us. It was a pretty awesome feeling. While I didn’t know 85% of the people I was with at that time, it was still pretty cool to be part of a group. Oh, well, the night was young.

To put it simply, for those hungry-for-drunken-nights, Boracay Pubcrawl is a tour of some of the best parties with the best people you might ever meet in your entire life. But it’s not just about the booze and the shots and the 2 for Php 100 specials all night and the cute cut-out shirts. Oh, not just about the craziest dance moves either. It’s about the connections. The coming together of travelers, crazy vacationers and hilarious jokers. It’s about the stories you tell. The names you just have to memorize because you know you want to spend the entire night dancing with them. It’s about the company. The friendship. The possible new beginnings.

And if you want that in one night? Can I get a Boracaaaaay?

PUBCRAWL!

Boracay Pubcrawl

Sorry, that’s the hangover talking.

In my first ever Boracay Pubcrawl, the crazy crowd took me to an actual foam party. Like seriously. A foam party. Like with real, soapy, slippery, wet foam. As much as I’d love to get wild, dirty and wet, the bar was in a location I had business connections with. So I stood at the back, drooling over them as they danced to the beat, got wet and wild. While I was at the loser table. But enough of my unfortunate experiences. This was definitely the kind of fun any traveler/loner/drunkard/partygoer/outgoing/experiencehungry person should experience – at least once (or twice, heck, thrice and more!) in their lives. And if you haven’t, what are you waiting for?

To make up for my loserness at the second stop, I just had to – had to rip up the dance floor in the next parties! Interesting?
